J. G. "Jim" Dai is the Leon C. Welch Professor of Engineering at the School of Operations Research and Information Engineering (ORIE) at Cornell University. His research focuses on applied probability, stochastic processes, and optimization of processing networks across semiconductor manufacturing, communications, healthcare, and service systems.
